I’ve successfully rallied everyone; mom, dad, bro, hubby and baby to indulge in delish dimsum buffet which I have been craving since like, forever. Everyone save fot my hamster, that is (she’s vegetarian). My next entry will be my first food review blog entry… WITH PICTARS! HUZZAH!

Gonna finish work, sleep early with an empty tummy and yay, DIMSUM tomorrow!

Speaking of luxury, I’m craving for dimsum and I’ve got it bad. REAL bad. Like, sobbing-cause-I-cannot-have-any BAD. How I miss tasting the delectable morsels of steamed prawn dumplings and yum, the desserts! However, it is dimsum BUFFET that I am craving unfortunately and that means it’s harder for me to have it cause nobody I know wants to eat halal dimsum with me. :-( What’s wrong with pork free dimsum?? They still taste heavenly IF fresh prawns are included in the dumplings (mmm… siew mais!)

It all started when I got that stupid Foodstreet newsletter complete with lovely dimsum photos to drench me in my own pool of saliva. Look how lovely the food is!

Sigh sigh sigh. And why am I sighing?

a) hubby does not like dimsum
b) beloved neighbour does not like halal dimsum
c) dad’s too busy to take us there

Well actually it should be “Danica is my daughter” and THAT at least is true because we named her so, minus the Patrick surname obviously. I chanced upon her name one day on ESPN.com the day she won the Indy Japan 300 race (the first woman, actually, to win an Indy race!) and I thought she’s beautiful and strong, two traits that I don’t mind seeing in our baby girl (then a month old, now three +). Hubby said okay, why not and so there you have it, the brief history about how our little sprog got her name :-)

AND he’s Russian too! :) Let’s hope he gets hired if R* ever made a GTA IV movie. The success from this game is simply phenomenal!

It seems that right before the final mission, you’re supposed to choose between:
a) killing Dimitri
b) let him go

If you chose (a), life goes on happily for everyone except KATE, who gets shot by Pegorino at Roman’s wedding.

If you chose (b), you’ll get a whopping $250,000 (anyone up for that Half a Million achievement?) BUT Roman gets killed by mistake on the day of his wedding!

Interesting point to note, though, if you chose to strike a deal with Dimitri and you call Kate later, she disses you and dumps you. Guess that inadvertently saved her sorry ass eh. I’m still sore about not being able to bonk her. Mallory on the other hand, is hot, even when she is crying her eyes out over poor Roman. :)

Speaking of which, time passes by so fast! I can hardly believe that it was only 3 weeks or so ago that something so adorable squirted out of me. This is putting it very mildly but in truth, childbirth has been effortless for me. I always knew I can survive the contractions and all that shit but never realised it was so easy breezy.

d) browse and blog
e) (gently) prod baby’s cheeks for fun
f) sleep?

On a GTA IV-related note, hubby got his Chain Reaction achievement no thanks to those less-than-helpful Youtube vids I Googled for him. Apparently he couldn’t sleep and while I was snoring away next to him around 5AM last night, he got up and did another attempt at the pesky achievement. Sure enough, before the bus he was standing on exploded, the little achievement box popped up! Whee, too bad I didn’t see it. He’s also gotten the One Man Army achievement himself and it was easier than ever. Me proud of you, sayang! :)

If anyone needs help on how to get these achievements, let me know!
