The little things that make us love GTA IV
Today marks the fifth day we’ve gotten our copy of GTA IV for the XBOX 360. This also means we’ve had five sleepless days and nights playing the game. Hubby has just gotten his $250,000 reward in the bank robbery mission and me, I’m er still in the first mission or so. Don’t have much time on my hands to play with our baby demanding my full attention so I’ll let hubby complete the game first. Hopefully we’ll acquire a new TV and another console for myself because honestly I can’t see much of the game on this miniscule screen. I won’t say how small but let’s just say my short sightedness is really, REALLY bad!
But so far, I love the game and don’t foresee us trading it in, ever. Even after 100% completion, this game still has its own value. It’ll be fun to play cops-and-robbers in multiplayer, and let’s not forget the hookers you can bang into right after you bang them. :) I’ve nothing against sex workers but their nasal cries amused me no end :)
Anyways I love all the little nifty details in this game. I’ve compiled a little list which will definitely grow in time.
- I love the random people hanging around the streets of Liberty City, my favourite being the window washers and the hard hat-clad construction worker directing traffic outside the construction site he works at
- cute little puns like the “100% Fowl” tagline outside their fast food outlets (fowl as opposed to foul?)
- and last but not least… THIS!
We all know that Liberty City is modeled after the NYC but look at this shit, it’s absolutely hilarious!
It’s the Statue of Happiness! With an extremely er, HAPPY face AND a cuppa latte in her hand, no less~!
Also notice how her breasts are more pronounced. It might just be me but I do take note of little details like these.
